Wellsprings of Florida

Care of all patients is under the direct supervision of Christian Science nurses who advertise in the Christian Science Journal. At Wellsprings, all of our Christian Science nurses have had Primary Class instruction in the practice of Christian Science from an authorized teacher, and are members of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. They nurse under the standard for Christian Science nursing set by Mary Baker Eddy in The Manual of The Mother Church, Article VIII, Section 31, which reads in part, "...a Christian Science nurse shall be one who has a demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science practice, who thoroughly understands the practical wisdom necessary in a sick room, and who can take proper care of the sick."

Staffed around the clock and ready to respond to calls for assistance, Wellspring’s outpatient care is available for all ages, including children and young adults. Outpatient care can include assistance with showering, cleaning and bandaging, and guidance in the use of mobility aids.

The Visiting Christian Science Nurse Service brings the skills, nursing judgement and metaphysical support of a Christian Science nurse advertising in the Christian Science Journal to you.  When there is a need in the home for personal care, nursing care or guidance in caregiving, call the facility to arrange an in-home visit.
