Wellsprings Christian Science Community at Long Lake

The proposed Wellsprings Christian Science Community will provide Christian Science nursing care, independent living, and sheltered living.
Wellsprings is committed to supporting a limitless expression of life in a community dedicated to the practice of Christian Science. Wellsprings will offer a variety of housing choices. The unique community will include 100 units with a full selection of services and life styles. A fully staffed Christian Science nursing center will be available on the grounds with care available 24/7.
The Wellsprings community will offer an expansive array of services, much like downtown Main Street. All residents can enjoy shopping at the general store, beauty and barber shop services, Christian Science Reading Room, library, café, public computers, social lounge complete with catering kitchen, activity and meeting rooms, and a fitness center. In addition, a walk-in heated pool will be just outside.
Christian Science Nursing Care
Supporting the ongoing practice of Christian Science, the Christian Science nursing services will be provided in a home-like setting. Each Christian Science Nursing cottage will be able to care for a total of 10 individuals. There will be private rooms with baths, and each cottage will include an open kitchen, dining room and living room. A library, Christian Science Reading Room, and family room will provide other opportunities to study quietly, or to gather with friends and family.
Individuals in the Christian Science Nursing cottage will be supported around-the-clock by Christian Science nurses committed to healing, regeneration and renewal, which the practice of Christian Science promises.
Independent Living
Independent residents will have a choice of apartments, all with 9’-6” ceilings, kitchen, 1 or 2 bedrooms and baths, and a dining area and living room combined to create a generous Great Room. Within this environment, residents will be able to choose from a menu of optional services including meals and housekeeping. Included in the rent are continental breakfast, a 28 meals-per-month meal program, and opportunities for recreation and participation in an engaging activities program.
